NEWSPRAY Products and Services

Founded in 1960, Textured Coatings of America, Inc. has led the industry in exterior coating advancements. TEX•COTE® products can withstand decades of exterior exposure; are impervious to water penetration; resist fading through revolutionary FADE BLOCK™ technology; and are an environmentally friendly “GREEN” solution with low VOC’s.

And that’s just the beginning!

What is an exterior coating?

Our product is not paint, although it looks just exactly like fresh paint. It is a lifetime alternative to paint, vinyl and metal siding, bonding to nearly any surface including wood, brick, stucco, vinyl and metal siding, and HardiPlank®. Applied in a three-step process, the product carries a limited lifetime warranty from the factory, TEX·COTE®, the world’s largest manufacturer of coatings since 1960.

TEX-COTE

The largest manufacturer of exterior coatings in the world, TEX·COTE® offers a complete line of decorative and protective high-build architectural coatings for residential, commercial, transportation and industrial applications. Founded in 1960, genuine TEX·COTE® products are found on some of today’s most prestigious buildings, bridges, landmarks and homes throughout the world.

TEX·COTE® SUPER COTE™ systems offer homeowners one of today’s most reliable and beautiful solutions to protecting their home’s exterior. TEX·COTE® SUPER COTE™ is TEN times thicker on average than ordinary paint and also contains special reflective pigments-- the same type used by the US Government to cool ships and provide reduced radar signature in stealth aircraft. Because of their ability to reflect both infrared and ultra violet rays, these pigments can lower surface temperatures by as much as 40° F when compared to traditional paints and coatings, and nearly eliminate fading.

Importantly, TEX·COTE® SUPER COTE™ products are “breatheable”, meaning moisture beneath the coatings can escape through the coating as a vapor, while preventing liquid moisture from penetrating from the outside in.
